Become a partner: private label A2 Gir cow ghee
We white-label ghee. You give us a contract; we make the ghee, fill it, seal it and label it with your brand, and send you sealed, packed, ready-to-ship jars. You supply the brand name, the label artwork and your own FSSAI licence. We supply the milk, the bilona process, the jars, the packing and the seal. The ghee is the same A2 Gir cow bilona ghee we make for our own customers in Delhi.
What you are actually buying
Contract manufacturing of one product, done one way. Organic Farmz makes A2 Gir cow ghee by the traditional bilona method in Delhi: whole milk cultured overnight into curd, the curd hand-churned into butter, the butter simmered slowly into ghee. We do not run a second, faster line for wholesale. A partner order is made the same way, by the same hands, as the jar a retail customer gets — which is the only reason this offer is worth anything to you.
What leaves here is finished retail stock: glass, sealed, batch code-stamped, wearing your label. You do not decant it, repack it or relabel it. Read how the bilona method works and who makes it before you enquire — the process is the product.
The process, step by step
- Send the enquiry Message us on WhatsApp or email with four things: your brand name, the jar size you want, roughly how many litres a month you are planning for, and when you would want the first batch. Those four answers are what every later step is built on.
- Taste a sample first Nobody should put their brand on a fat they have not tasted. We agree a sample batch with you — quantity, jar and cost — and send it from the same kitchen and the same process that would make your production run. Taste it, cook with it, and have it tested if you want to.
- Agree the terms in writing Rate, volume, jar, who holds the label artwork, confidentiality and what happens to a batch that either side is not happy with. We put it in a written agreement before any production run, because a white-label arrangement with nothing on paper is where both sides get hurt.
- Settle the minimum order against our capacity We agree the minimum with you at the sample stage rather than publishing one, because the honest minimum depends on your jar size, how often you want to repeat, and how much of the month's milk is already committed. We would rather tell you we cannot take your volume than take it and miss.
- Send your label artwork and your FSSAI details You supply the artwork as a print-ready file, with your own FSSAI number and the declarations your label has to carry. We check it fits the jar we are filling and come back to you before anything is printed.
- We make the ghee to order Milk is collected in the morning after the calves have fed, boiled, cooled and cultured overnight into curd. At dawn the curd is hand-churned into butter and the butter is simmered for hours until the milk solids toast and settle. The ghee is strained and rested until it turns grainy. About two days from milking to jar, and 25 to 30 litres of milk per litre of ghee — nothing in that can be hurried.
- Labelled, sealed jars reach you ready to ship The ghee goes into glass, is sealed, code-stamped with its batch, labelled with your artwork and packed by hand. We send photographs of your own batch on WhatsApp, then dispatch by courier with tracking. What arrives is finished retail stock in your brand: you do not repack anything.
Who supplies what
| Item | You supply | Organic Farmz supplies |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | The brand name, and the right to use it | Nothing — our name is on the jar as the manufacturer, not as the brand |
| Label | Print-ready artwork, your declarations, your FSSAI number | Printing and applying it to the jar; a check that it fits before anything is printed |
| Licence | Your own FSSAI registration or licence, in your brand’s name | Our own FSSAI licence as the manufacturer, and our manufacturer details for your label |
| The ghee | Nothing | Gir cow milk, the curd, the churning, the simmer, the rest — made to order |
| Packing | Nothing | Glass jars, filling, the seal, the batch code stamp, hand packing |
| Proof of batch | Nothing | Photographs of your own batch on WhatsApp, and the lab reports for the ghee |
| Freight | Onward delivery to your own customers; export paperwork and freight if you export | Dispatch to your address by courier within India, with tracking |
| Selling | Pricing, marketing, the storefront, the customer | Nothing — we do not sell to your customers |
Who this suits
- D2C ghee and wellness brands that want a real traditional product behind their label instead of a drum of refurbished commodity ghee, and do not want to build a dairy.
- Gift and corporate hamper companies that need a premium jar in their own livery for Diwali, weddings or employee gifting.
- Retailers and organic stores putting a house brand on the shelf beside the national ones.
- Restaurants, bakeries and cloud kitchens that cook in ghee and want their own name on what sits on the pass or the retail counter.
- Exporters sourcing Indian A2 ghee for a market abroad, who will handle the importing country’s paperwork and label rules themselves.
It suits all of them on one condition: that you are selling the slow version to people who will pay for it. If your plan needs the cheapest ghee per litre, we are the wrong supplier and will say so on the first call.
Why this is worth buying from a maker
Every partner batch is made after your order, from milk that was in the cow that week, and it carries its own batch code. Nothing is poured from a tank that was filled for somebody else.
That is the difference between a maker and a trader, and it is worth being plain about what it gives you:
- It is made on our own farm, by us. Partner batches come from the same herd, the same shed and the same method as the jars that carry our own label. We do not buy ghee in from another dairy and put your brand on it, and we do not sub-contract your batch to a third party. If you visit, there is one place to visit.
- Nothing you receive is old. There is no warehouse stock to rotate, so you are never sent the end of a slow-moving lot. Your jars are filled for you and dispatched against a dated window we agree in writing when the order is confirmed.
- It is genuinely bilona, and that is checkable. 25 to 30 litres of whole milk make one litre, the curd sets overnight, the simmer takes hours, about two days from milking to jar. That is the method you are paying for and the reason your label can honestly say so. A larger order does not cut corners to go faster; it goes in more batches.
- Your volume is held, not hoped for. Tell us the monthly quantity you need at the enquiry and we confirm what we can commit to before anything is signed. If it is more than we can stand behind we will say so then — we would rather lose the order than take it and leave you short mid-season.
- One product, made one way. A2 Gir cow ghee by the bilona method, and nothing else. No buffalo ghee, no cream-separated ghee, no cheaper second grade, no blended or flavoured fats, and no quiet substitution when milk is tight. What you taste in the sample is what arrives every time.
- You can show your customers the batch. We send photographs and video of your own batch on WhatsApp while it is being made, and the jars are code-stamped. That is provenance you can publish, which is usually the whole reason a brand buys ghee this way.
Two things you have to bring
Neither is negotiable, and it is better to know now than after the artwork is done:
- Your own FSSAI licence. We are FSSAI licensed as a manufacturer, but you cannot sell under your own brand on our licence. Your own registration or licence number has to appear on your label.
- No organic certification. “Organic Farmz” is our brand name, not a certification, and we hold none. We are MSME registered, FSSAI licensed, GST registered, our trademark is registered and our ghee is lab tested — that is the whole list. If your label needs an organic mark, we cannot support it and you should not print one.

Questions people ask
What does white-label ghee manufacturing mean here?
You give us a contract; we make the ghee, fill it, seal it and put your label on it, and you receive sealed, packed, ready-to-ship jars in your own brand. We are the manufacturer and you are the seller. We do not sell to your customers, and our name does not appear on your jar as the brand.
What is your minimum order?
We agree it with you at the sample stage instead of publishing a figure. It depends on your jar size, whether the order repeats, and the monthly volume you need. Tell us that volume in the first message and we will confirm what we can hold for you before anything is agreed, rather than quoting a number here that may not fit your case.
How long does a partner order take?
Longer than a warehouse, and we will not pretend otherwise. There is no stock to draw from: your batch is made after the order, and the process itself takes about two days from milking to jar, plus the time to fill and label the quantity you have ordered. We commit to a dated dispatch window in writing when the order is confirmed, planned against the volume you have asked for, rather than quoting a standard number of days here.
Who owns the brand and the label artwork?
You do. The brand name, the artwork and the customer are yours. We hold your artwork only to print and apply it to your jars, we do not use it anywhere else, and we do not sell ghee under your name to anyone but you.
Can I change the jar, the pack size or the labelling?
Ask. We fill glass jars and code-stamp each one by batch, which is how our own ghee ships, and that is the format we can promise today. A different jar, a different size or a different closure is a question of what we can source and fill reliably, so we answer it at the enquiry stage with a yes or a no rather than a maybe.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you share artwork, formulation plans, costings or customer details, and confidentiality is part of the supply agreement too. Send us yours or ask us for one.
Do I need my own FSSAI licence?
Yes. To sell a packaged food under your own brand in India you need your own FSSAI registration or licence in your brand's name, and that number has to appear on your label alongside ours as the manufacturer. We are FSSAI licensed for what we make, but our licence cannot be used to put your brand on the shelf. If you do not have one yet, start that before the first production run.
How is partner pricing worked out?
Per litre, quoted against your volume and your jar, after the sample. We do not publish a partner rate because there is no single one: the cost is driven by 25 to 30 litres of milk per litre of ghee, the hand work, your jar and label, and how much you take at a time. For reference, our own retail ghee is sold by the litre at a rate that falls as the order grows — the same logic applies to a partner quote.
Do you ship to me, or direct to my customers?
To you, by courier, anywhere in India, as sealed retail-ready stock with tracking. Shipping single jars to your individual customers on your behalf is not something we do. If you are exporting, the jars are made and labelled here and the export paperwork, the importing country's label rules and the freight are yours to arrange.
